ENTREPRENEURS GIVE ADVICE TO STUDENTS
STUDENTS will be given advice by some of the region's best- known entrepreneurs on how to make the most of their business ideas.
Leading figures will give advice on getting started and how to overcome some of the challenges entrepreneurs face. The event is called "So you want to be an entrepreneur".
Keynote speaker will be Caroline Plumb, managing director of research and recruitment consultancy FreshMinds who, along with Bill Gates, spoke at the UK Treasury's Enterprise Conference in 2004,
and was a speaker at this year's international Institute of Directors Convention.

Others will include last year's Forum Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Tarek Nseir, Kari Owers of O Communications, and Josh March, of Ethnic Style.
Paul Callaghan, chairman of Wearside technology and communications firm The Leighton Group, will open the event.
He said: "This is the age of the entrepreneur, a time when the North-East is producing some fantastically exciting businesses on which the future of our region will be built.
"We need our talented students to realise that entrepreneurs are everywhere and that anyone can be one if they have the ideas and the motivation."
